Reading- We continue to read In Their Own Words: Lewis and Clark.  The students are also reading from a KC Star supplement about the Lewis and Clark expedition.  It provides a lot of very interesting information.

Spelling - we have shorten our spelling list because of the more challenging Lewis and Clark vocabulary.  We try to use thematic words whenever possible so the list will vary from week to week.

Math - We continue to work on number sense this week.  We are writing place value riddles to share with our classmates.  We will also start working on rounding numbers.
