Class News:
Reading - We will begin If I Traveled West in a Covered Wagon this week. This non fiction book tells about life on the Oregon Trail. Mr. N provides books from the library about pioneer life. Third graders will read these books and write down interesting facts.
Math - We continue to work on the concept of multiplication. This week we will write multiplication stories with a Halloween theme. We will continue to learn multiplication vocabulary.
Science - We are concluding our Sound Unit this week with some review and comprehension questions. Then we move on to the Human Body and begin with the skeletal system.
Language - We continue to work on possessive nouns. We also are working on writing paragraphs. We will go over the topic sentence and supporting details.
