Class News:

Reading: We will finish the book The Best Christmas Pageant Ever this week We will complete a couple of end of the book assignments.  Students have really enjoyed this hilarious book about the Herdman family.

Math: We will continue to work on the basic concept of multiplication.  We are also working on some problem solving skills.

Science: We are beginning or study of the planets which we will finish up after Christmas break. Our final test on the space unit will be Monday, January 9,2012.

Social Studies: The students are doing a great job on their Christmas Crisscross projects.  We have many great posters, Powerpoints, crossword puzzles, etc...

Other News:

*Thank you to David Lubchenco for  reading to the Ms. Beilharz's class on Monday.

* Don't forget Secret Santa is Tuesday- Thursday! Please check last week's blog for details.

*Friday the 3-5 graders will ice skate.  The students are allowed to bring their own skates.  An extra pair of socks is always a good idea for those using the rink's skates.  Also, students are allowed to bring $3.00 to buy a treat at the rink.  We ask that you don't send anymore than $3.00.
