Class News:

Reading - We continue to read The Chocolate Touch. This weeks spelling words are based on vocabulary from this book.  We are working on finding the correct definition for the vocabulary word in The Chocolate Touch.

Math - We will finish our unit on fractions this week.  We will start testing over our multiplication facts this week.  Each third grader will be expected to master each set of facts three times before quizzing out of that fact.  For the next couple of weeks we will focus on 0-5 facts.



Science We will be discussing and experimenting with inclined planes and levers this week.

Other News:

*A belated thank you to Jeff Jonas for Skyping with us before spring break.  We learned about his African grey parrot, Barney, and the third graders were allowed to ask  questions.
