Class News:

Reading - We continue to read Charlotte's Web. This week's spelling words are vocabulary words from Charlotte's Web. We know they are a bit more challenging but we also know the students are capable of learning these words.  We will be going over them as vocabulary words in class.

Math - We are finishing up our geometry unit and will have a test next Tuesday.  A study guide will come home Tuesday or Wednesday along with your child's math book and vocabulary sheet.

We continue to work on our multiplication skills.  Some students are working are working with a helper to master their facts verbally rather than a pencil paper test.  If your child comes home with a paper that has +, x, or a check mark then they worked with a helper.  If the multiplication facts have a + by it then your child knows it very well.  If it has a x or a check mark then they need to keep studying that particular fact.  Right now we are trying to get everyone to master their facts up to 5 while others are already passed all of the tests up to 12.  Let Ms. Beilharz know if you have any questions.

Science We have been reviewing for our Simple Machines test. Your child should have both a study guide and a glossary sheet. They also should be bringing their books home. We have also been enjoying watching the progress of the flowers we planted. Many thanks to the parents whom helped us recreate our garden space!
