Thursday: Read, Study spelling, Practice Math Facts
Friday: Have fun with family and friends over Spring Break!

Reading: We are reading The Chocolate Touch.  We will focus on vocabulary, comprehension, and reading with fluency.  This book is a take off of King Midas.

Math: We will finish our fraction unit that got interrupted with the snow days and rainforest catch up days.  We will also focus on problem solving.  We will be looking for the key words in  problem solving that tell us whether to add, subtract, multiply, or divide.

Science:  We will wrap up our rainforest unit this week with a couple of items.  We will talk about Mangrove forests for a couple of days. 

Rainforest Wrap Up:  * A huge thank you to everyone for all of your help throughout the rainforest project.  We couldn't do this unit without all of your help.  Thanks to the parents who helped construct the rainforest and who will take it down this week.  It needs to be down by Friday. 

* Thank you to the room mothers who organized all the food for the open house. 

We are so proud of your children and how hard they worked during this unit.
