Recess
During the winters months we try and go outside as often as possible. Please send your child with appropriate gear for a cold recess. However, if the temperature is under 20 degrees then we will stay inside. This is the school policy. If it snows and the weather is above 20 degrees then we will try to go outside for a bit. Please have your child bring/wear snow boots or bring an extra pair of shoes.

This week we have four biographies and each student will read a couple of those. They are Ruby Bridges, Frederick Douglass, Elijah McCoy, Sojourner Truth.
Math:
This week students will review multiplication, division, and telling time.
Language Arts:
We will continue with verbs, Wordly Wise Lesson 7, and writing a paragraph.
Science:
We will do a little more work on the Human Body.
