Class News:

All things rainforest - We are finishing our research reports by typing the bibliography and cover page. We continue working on our rainforest poetry book.  We are memorizing our animals facts and giving tours.

Math - We continue to work on our unit on data.  We are creating pictographs this week and will work on coordinating planes.

Science - We are studying the numerous products that come from the rainforest.

A note about the rainforest - We know that many visitors cannot come to the Rainforest Open House on Thursday, March 6.  You are welcome to email your teacher and set up another time for a visitor to see our rainforest.  We can be very flexible except during lunchtime and special classes.  Also, every student in the school will be given the opportunity to have his/her brother or sister take them on a rainforest tour.  If your child is sick or absent the day his/her class tours the rainforest then we will make arrangements with their teacher to take a tour.
