Summer Reading Book Swap!
Next week students may bring in up to 5 gently used books to participate in the 3rd annual book swap.  Students can turn their books into their teacher Monday-Friday.  On Friday afternoon each class will browse the book collection and students can refresh their reading stash before summer vacation begins!   Please send books that are on or above your child’s grade level to ensure that all students are happy with their new read.  This is an optional activity.

Write Way to Art - American Collection

In this tour, students will hone their visual observation and critical thinking skills while engaging in writing activities. Skilled docents invite close looking through Visual Thinking Strategies and facilitate writing through creative prompts. Docents will use the American galleries as the backdrop to this exciting experience. Teachers may indicate specific curricular needs or focus areas on the tour registration page.
