Class News:
Reading & Social Studies - We will continue to read In Their Own Words: Lewis and Clark.   We continue to write down important dates and are also learning that Lewis and Clark weren't very good spellers.  This week we will be using posters to collect more information about Lewis and Clark.

Math - We will be beginning multiplication this week.  The first two weeks we will focus strictly on the concept of multiplication.  There are still some students who need to practice addition or subtraction basic facts.  Please continue to work with your child on these important facts.  Other students have an addition and subtraction worksheet to complete.

Science- We continue with our sound unit . We will review sound reflection, absorption, and noise pollution. We will be learning about musical instruments and will have the opportunity to make our own panpipes.Finally we will learn about echolocation and the role of audiologists.

Language - We continue to work on nouns.  We are learning about possessive nouns.  We also published a Halloween poem and they are displayed on the bulletin boards in the commons.  Make sure to look at them during parent/teacher conferences.

YOU MUST RETURN THE FIRST SET OF PHOTOS BEFORE YOU CAN HAVE THE PICTURES TAKEN AGAIN.

This first set will no longer be an option,

the new one will be used for the yearbook.

(This will help the photographer know what you want done differently.)
