In science students will continue studying different ecosystems, grasslands, desert, tundra, forest ecosystems, and water ecosystems at the same time as they learn about the tropical rainforest. Next we will study Plants and Animals Living Together, another chapter in the science textbook. On Friday of last week all students participated in a STEM activity. The challenge was to build a small sailboat using any of the provided  materials with an assigned partner. This boat was to be no more than approximately 6 inches,  and had to be able to float. Today, Monday, students are testing their boats in a container of water. Watch out for pictures!
