RAINFOREST NEWS:

The rainforest is looking wonderful. Many thanks to our two Cristo Rey students who have assembled the rainforest in the commons. Thank you to you all for making such incredible animals for the rainforest. It is amazing to see them all in their habitat! Students have already given tours to many of the younger students in the school, and are very ready for the Open House on Tuesday. Please have your students dress nicely for the Open House. Students will eat their lunches at 11a.m. on Tuesday.
Animals: Please pick up your animal on Wednesday afternoon  or during conferences.

Thank you for all that you have done to make this unit such a special one.

Social Studies, Science, Language Arts

Students will conclude Rainforest studies and assignments. Students will start lesson 10 of Wordly Wise.

Reading

Students will begin reading The Chocolate Touch  by Patrick Skene Catling.  This is a story about a boy who loves chocolate so much that everything he touches turns to chocolate.

Math

Students will take one part of their math test each day, Monday through Wednesday.
